A quick update–Julia Kay and the song, “Reaching To The Moon,” have reached the finals for the International Songwriting Competition! This is a big deal: the grand prize is $25,000. Additionally, if Julia wins her under 18 category, she will get a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in Boston for the summer session.
