Check out Julia Kay’s new track “Love Darling” before it hits iTunes. This the pre-mix version…So, it can only get a few extra bells and whistles–like drum swells, filters and ambience… Julia makes great classy music;-)
This track was written about money and materialism: how stuff can never replace love in your life. I will personally pass on “Poker Face.” Gaga knows damn well she’s sending that crap out to 8 year old girls. She’s hooked on phonics–phonics that allow her to bypass FCC regulation on profanity.
She’s just an industry creation of repackaged Marilyn Manson on dance music. Bad Romance’s opening lyric: “I want your ugly, I want your disease, I want everything as long as its free.” She said it. Oh yeah, and Tiger Woods is not a role model… Maybe they should get together–then they can both not be responsible for anything they do. This stuff is laughable and they mock us all the way to the bank. Anyway, Gaga knows that Goldfrapp did it classier, better and first. Gaga is a disposable spectacle; but, a spectacle sells records these days.
As to the music, Gaga, if you just want adults to hear it, then only perform it live in over 21 clubs–don’t put it on the radio or sell it on iTunes. No, they want it all–its greed pure and simple at children’s expense. Adults making crap art for kids…real classy. I may delve into this topic at length later…
Why not just acknowledge that people are going to pay attention to what you do and take responsibility–like Julia is doing. She has a message–that the world doesn’t need anymore art filled with trashy ramblings about money, sex, and violence. She would rather take you into a better world than we live in now…
Cheers
